Tiny Tamarin Twins
December 21, 2012
We're elated to announce the debut of tamarin twins, who are in good hands. Resident parents are experienced with raising duos. They've had twins before!
Luckily for them and their troop-mates, parenting responsibilities fall on the group, which sometimes numbers as many as 20. How's that for built-in babysitting? Geoffroy's tamarins are native to central and eastern Panama and Colombia, but you can visit our happily family on exhibit in the
Aminal Lifestyles building, where you'll also spot Hamadryas baboons, Pallas's cats, and owls.
