The presents come early and often for the animals at the Prospect Park Zoo. Each weekend in December, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., watch as Hamadryas baboons, Pallas's cats, red pandas, mongoose, and other critters tear into treat-filled bags and boxes.

Presents for the animals are a form of enrichment. Prospect Park Zoo provides these and other types of mental and physical stimulation to keep the animals' minds and bodies healthy and active.

Presents Schedule

Dec. 1–2: North American river otters and red pandas
Dec. 8–9: Hamadryas baboons at both times
Dec. 15–16: Golden lion tamarins and Pallas's cats
Dec. 22–23: meerkats and dwarf mongooses
