These multi-day programs are filled with live animals, zoo exploration, crafts, games, and more. Space is limited.
NEW! Toddler Camp
In this 4-day mini-camp, toddlers and their caregivers will get a sneak peak of what camp is really like. Each day, there will be a different theme with animals, exhibit visits, movement activities, and a craft. Toddlers will even get their own summer t-shirt.
Ages: 2-3 years old, with caregiver

Kinderzoo
In this 5-day camp, your explorers will travel through the zoo while logging their adventures in their take-home journal. They’ll use their senses to learn about animals, sketch at exhibits, collect stickers around the zoo, make cool crafts, and get up close with our animals during this week of fun!
Ages: 4–5 years old (must be age 4 by June 1)

Week of Wildlife
This adventure camp will transform your child into a wildlife detective, allowing them to get their hands on different instruments, like microscopes and binoculars. Campers will explore the zoo through clues, such as animal tracks and scat, meet some animals up close and have some great adventures all while unraveling the ultimate mystery at the zoo!
Ages: 6–7 years old

Zoo Explorer
Join us on a conservation quest where your child will help conduct a frog census, be able to identify local and tropical birds, learn about composting and go on a walk about to the Australian outback to search for dingos. By the end of the week, your camper will not only feel like they’ve traveled to far off places, but also create a collection of memories and animal stories to keep for years to come.
Ages: 8–10 years old
Session A: August 6-10
Session B: August 27–31
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

NEW! Teen Internship
Tweens and teens will try out a variety of jobs in the zoo. They’ll spend their mornings working in the Barnyard or preparing food in the commissary with the keepers. Campers will also conduct an animal behavior study, engage in an urban ecology research project, and design an exhibit in the zoo. Interns will also be able to select from a specialized elective such as Wildlife Photography, meet guest speakers such as the Zoo Director, and meet like-minded teens who are passionate about animals.
Ages: 13-17 years old
Dates: July 9-27 (Monday-Friday, 3-week session)
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Fee: $1200 members; $1400 non-members, for 3-week session
